1 cup fresh blueberries
1 3/4 cups sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup butter
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mashed ripe banana (2 bananas should do it)
Toss washed blueberries with 2 TB flour. (I used frozen wild blueberries.)
Sift dry ingredients and set aside.
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time.
Add flour mixture and bananas alternately in 3 parts. Add berries.
Spoon into a 9 x 5 loaf pan. (I buttered the pan.) Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 350 for 50 minutes or until done.
