Welcome Spiced Walnuts!
This sweet treat is easy to make and delicious. It's just the kind of thing you'd want to find on a coffee table to get the party started.
1 egg white
2 1/2 cups walnuts
3/4 cup sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
Beat the egg white until stiff peaks form.
Add walnuts and cover well with egg whites.
Mix together the sugar and spices. Add to the walnut mixture and stir well to cover nuts completely.
Place the walnuts in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake at 325 F for 15 minutes. Turn off oven. Break up walnuts and return to oven for another 5 minutes.
Remove from oven, let cool, and enjoy!
